Growing Methods

 

Our growing methods are a mix of conventional and organic, we use conventional fertilizers and other products that are approved for organic farming – such as Serenade, Oxidate, Cinnerate, Entrust, Sluggo, copper, sulfur, lime, calcium.  Every season presents different challenges and products often need to be used in rotation. The strawberries are very susceptible to fungus and we use Serenade, Oxidate and Cinnerate in rotation. We are very conscientious about our environment and other beneficial critters that also live here, especially our resident bees.

 

We work very hard in the preseason to care for the plants and the fields to give them the best chance for a healthy and productive season.
